Doctors never really catch a break; they are always on the move to save lives. Even while they sleep, they have to shuffle calls from confused or sick patients. I’m sure so many doctors will find this next joke relatable.
One night while doctor Segun slept after a very long day at the hospital, he dreamt that he was going to sleep all night without having an emergency phone call. Probably, his subconscious mind was showing him what he wanted the most using this dream.
However, the dream was short-lived, and his phone rang, and he had no choice but to pick it. He heard a man’s voice over the phone and immediately recognized that it was his former patient’s husband.
“So sorry for disturbing you so late at night doctor, but I think my wife has appendicitis, we urgently need your help,” the man said. Dr. Segun who was still half asleep remembered that he had performed an operation on the man’s wife in the past, and he took out her inflamed appendix. “Baba Ibeji, I think you are confused, I took out your wife’s appendix three years ago, don’t you remember? He asked and muttered to himself “whoever heard of two appendixes, wonders shall never end.”
The man overheard him and replied him “you may not have come across a second appendix in your medical practice, but surely you must have heard of a second wife.
